Primal Freeze Dried Treats

Last month Chewy.com sent us Primal Beef Liver Munchies Freeze-Dried Dog & Cat Treats

to review. We went with the freeze dried treats as they have just one ingredient - beef liver, so there are no grains or other proteins to make Maggie itchy. Primal specializes in single source protein treats and make many different options that are great for pets with allergies.

We'd look at the camera but the bag is over here now!

The dogs were immediately obsessed with these treats! I left one in my coat & they ran up to it the next morning and kept sniffing that pocket, even though the treats have a very faint smell. They were firm, dry in texture and pretty easy to break into smaller pieces. I'm holding up about a quarter of a treat in the picture above.

Maggie shoved Duke out of the way to get these! Not so picky now!

Both dogs loved these treats!  We received the bag in exchange for the review, and would definitely recommend them. They seemed pricey at $9.33 for 2 oz, but there were quite a few treats in the bag. They were very low odor compared to other liver treats we've tried, but completely kept the dogs' attention. If you've ever tried to make liver training treats at home, these are a bargain in comparison! 
As usual, Chewy.com was awesome and got the Primal Beef Liver Munchies to us in only 2 days!
