WTF? This has never happened before. |
HEEEEEERRE'S PUPPY! |
That was original woodwork from 1927. |
That was the door. |
The beavers took off more wood than expected. |
Duke, aka Beaver Boy, did not hide the evidence. |
Duke: I have no idea what you're talking about. |
OMD blame it on the squirrels we say.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you all. May the day bring lots of treats and fun.
Best wishes Molly
If squirrels were in the house the dogs would be in real trouble!
DeleteUh oh... someone is grounded...
ReplyDeleteThey didn't even get banned from the couch for one night. :)
DeleteOh no! Hailey did the same thing in our old house. Fortunately it was not as old wood. I guess someone wanted to remodel!
ReplyDeleteHow do you keep her from "remodeling" the new house?
DeleteUh oh...
ReplyDeleteDeny, Duke! Deny, deny, deny!
It would have been easier for him if he didn't leave the evidence on his bed. :)
Deleteoh poor Duke!!!!! Dakota did the SAME THING to the inside of our apt/condo door when we had 2 dogs who lived across the hall. He tore out the wood on the side of the door (the panel) and it looked EXACTLY like what Duke did. Thankfully the dogs moved, so he no longer does it. And thankfully it wasn't super old wood like yours. Poor baby. Do you know why he did it? (((hugs))) to you!
ReplyDeleteNo way, not floofy Dakota! We think someone may have been on our front porch? Either that or he was freaked out because it was the first day of the Mr.'s new schedule. The dogs are very OCD about their walks (& food. :)
DeleteEaster bunny did it
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter
Lily & Edward
Maybe Duke thought he was in the yard? :)
DeleteCan't say this hasn't been done in our house, by total accident of course! ;) Ooops!
ReplyDeleteI hope not recently! :)
DeleteOh no no that's some real mischief.
ReplyDeleteYeah, good thing it doesn't happen too often!
DeleteDuke welcome to the Damn Dog Club only the best can be a member.
ReplyDeleteOK, so there is one good thing about this! :)
DeleteOhhh yikes.
ReplyDeleteYeah, we said something like that! :)
DeleteWe have a door that looks like that. It's the one that leads to the bathroom where the cat litter box is. Someone has a taste for cat poo. Yuck!
ReplyDelete--Wags (and purrs) from Life with Dogs and Cats
The punks do too, luckily they haven't gone after that door yet! Ewww...
DeleteOh dear! The Evil Squirrel Cartel is trying to frame you!
ReplyDeleteWe wish... that would be easier to deal with! :)
DeleteI feel your pain. My senior dog Mia was perfect for years before she started tearing apart our doors, door frames and dry wall. I think we traced the problem to anxiety over some beeping and clicking noises of various electronic noises in our house and we started keeping her outside when we're not home. (And she's chewed a little on the door outside too!) I noticed that happened after we'd forgotten to give her the arthritis medicine and wonder if the two are related.
ReplyDeleteThe dogs haven't needed crates for over 4 years, so this was really weird! It's good to know we're not the only ones. :)
