Monday Mischief

Um, it's a racing stripe? All the cool dogs are doing it.
It's definitely spring, Maggie rolled in wild turkey poop this Saturday morning. She waited until I was distracted by picking up after Duke (who may have been in on it, as he usually doesn't "go" in the middle of the neighbor's field) and completely jammed her face into what was definitely not just wet grass. Stupid 25' leashes do not offer much control, especially first thing in the morning.

See, both sides match, it's cool.
Of course she managed to get it everywhere, which meant dog baths before breakfast.

Wait, why do I need a bath too? I only rolled in wet grass.
I was thinking that dogs were much grosser than cats, until I stepped in cat barf wearing socks.
The weekend did get better from there!

  6. Baths before breakfast? Not cool guys, you should wait until later to roll in nasty things. And, cat barf... ick!

  7. Overall, our dogs and cats have been equal in the gross department... that being said, we have no experience with turkey poop, wild or otherwise! :)

  10. I'm giggling because I too have been there, done that! Lately, all the pack have been rolling in are dried up earthworms. No smell and no mess, so that's okay!

  13. Oh gross! Kaya often finds wild animal poop to roll in on our hikes, but she hates baths! I wish she could know the 2 are related:/
