No Privacy

The Dude surveys his domain.

Duke and Maggie are waiting patiently. Not sure why they can't do this in the other room.

Maggie doesn't want to miss anything.

Duke is bored. (Heavy sigh)

Good thing I was only filing my nails.

    1. Once all 6 furballs were in there and the Mr. had to herd them out so I could get out of the shower.

  3. Hilarious. I have supervisors in the bathroom as well. And my cats (according to my husband) also refer to us as the Man and the Lady. :)

  4. I hate it when they lift their head and sniff the air? What do you expect?

    1. I hate when they try to clean the litter box in the corner next to the toilet! Or when they sniff it and wag their tails hopefully.

There is a hook on the door so the cats can go in and out and the dogs can't fit. The last time I hooked it while in there all 4 cats came in , so it actually increased the pet to human ratio.

    1. The door opens if the Dude or the dogs bodyslam it. The house is 85 years old and most of the doors have issues. We haven't found a mechanism that will fit and make it stay closed, though we could put a hook and eye on the inside if it really bothered us.

I should kick them out like the Mr. does when they bust in on him, my saying "Hi guys!" in a happy voice is positively reinforcing their rude behavior :)

    1. You're lucky, plus Bailey is so cute and teeny! If I manage to get the door to stay closed they curl up on the other side, so weird.

  10. Oh my! At our house, everyone hates getting baths & therefore will go nowhere near the bathroom.

  11. LOL - that was great. I swear the only thing about losing my 14 year old Lab that wasn't painful was the fact that I was finally allowed some privacy in the bathroom. That was, until we got Bella. ;)
