Yes, this food has the longest name ever! The good thing is that it covers all of Ozzie's requirements, as the pate texture and grain-free recipe means that he won't throw it up. Anything with chunks in gravy or with grain will definitely make a quick reappearance, gross but true. We've been trying to put weight on Ozzie & Cocoa since they're now 16 (!), and still run around like crazy kittens.

Serena wants to know what the all fuss is about. |
Ozzie & the Dude are best buds, but were still shoving each other out of the way to get to the salmon & beef food. Cocoa had to sniff the new food for a minute, but quickly started eating once she saw the boys scarfing theirs down We have to put out 3 plates so each cat has their own, and the boys were definitely diving in. (Serena doesn't like soft food, we've put out 4 plates, but she won't try this or any other soft food.)

Note Ozzie on Dude's tail |
The
Solid Gold food was very low odor, which is amazing compared to so many other types of canned cat food. The cats were still right there the second they heard their plates come out. This food may have given Ozzie the ability to tell time, as he would start playing "cat siren" about 15 minutes before feeding time.

Cat Siren Activate! |
Chewy.com is awesome, the food was here 2 days after we let them know what flavor to send. The
Solid Gold Wild Harvest Classic Pate Salmon & Beef Recipe Grain-Free Canned Cat Food was a hit with 3 out of 4 cats, and definitely gets 3 out of 4 paws up. At $15.85 for 12 cans, it works out to $1.32 per 3oz can, which would add up quickly if that was all we were feeding the 3 of them. Solid Gold is pricey but worth it, Ozzie didn't throw up once!
